An expression of freedom easy to capture, especially from one of the numerous viewpoints of the three magnificent hiking levels in Ramsau am Dachstein: maple forests (1.100 m) - mountain pasture (1.700 m) - glacier ice (2.700 m)... The historic mountain pasture huts and shelters are open till the end of October.

Ramsau is a very much appreciated world championship place and - with one of the most sunny ski fields of the region - a joy for the whole family and especially also for cross-country skiers. Especially families appreciate this ski paradise and the ski school areas also for children. The Dachstein glacier - grand attraction for tour people and people wanting to drive different ski-styles. It is also an area rich in spectacular downhill slopes - up to 24 km of length.
